Well, we stuck our feet into it last month, polling our readers to figure out their picks of the best soul albums of the 70s (See the results HERE). It was a lot of fun, so of course we're doing it again this month by having you pick the greatest albums of the 1980s.
We heard you loud and clear that you wanted more choices! So in our 80s poll you'll get a chance to choose from 100 albums that were nominated by you, our readers. We'll be posting the results daily, and you can see them and can leave us your comments by clicking here. We'll post the final results on around April 7.
Some initial rules we set in doing this:
- Only studio albums of new music count (no live or greatest hits albums)
- The album must have been initially released between 1980 and 1989
