Family, I’ve had one of this most busiest, yet most blessed weeks ever. For starters, I had the privilege of attending sexy R&B singer Tank’s new “Stronger” CD listening party. This is the multiple Grammy Award-nominated artist’s 6th release; and it’s filled with upbeat; and for the dance enthusiasts tracks that you will keep you moving the entire time from start to finish.
Tank is extremely passionate about his current project; and staying fit, that he creatively aligned his “30 Days to a #Stronger U” challenge with the CD release. What is project you ask? Well read on to learn more about his endeavors, and his new album.

Avery Dey: Congratulations on your new project.
Tank: Thank you, thank you so much.
AD: Well tell me, whom did you work with on your current CD?
Tank: Sure, sure: Jerry Wonder, Infinity, Young Fire, “J-Do”, Lonnie Burrelll, J. Valentine, I worked with me (both of us laughing). Ok, Ok, Ok
AD: So tell me about the #StrongerU” initiative and how does it correlate with your current CD.
Tank: Well we were already launching a fitness campaign dedicated to getting people started, getting people off the couch. How to get out of those chairs and just get moving, you know?
AD: Ok, ok.
Tank: So when the album “Stronger” came along, it was the perfect time to tie it in, and people joined us and they rocked with it. So now that demand for a #StrongerU is in a different place. People really, really want to see it and want to be a part of it on another level.
AD: That’s Awesome!
Tank: Yeah so my head trainer, Marcus Nesbitt, we’re getting ready to take that thing to a whole another level. It’s going to be really, really big.
AD: My next question for you is – I’ve seen you so many times with TGT, when did you find the time to make this CD?
Tank: Umm, well it doesn’t take me long.
AD: Really?!! Ok, ok.
Tank: No, no really it doesn’t take me long at all to record. Once I’m very sure about the direction and I hear the music, then it’s a bee-line to the end. It’s fun for me. Once I have the body of the music from Jerry Wonder, the rest was a cakewalk. Honest to God, it fell in my lap and really came together musically for me – easier than any of my other recordings.
AD: Wow!
Tank: Yeah, yeah it was great.
AD: So should we expect to see you in any other films like Dreamgirls?
Tank: Yes, I have a film coming out called “November Rule” with Queen Latifah and her shop that I’ve made as well as an HBO series “The Protector”. So it’s a lot of things you’re going to see real soon.
AD: Oh that’s hot!!!. You know I have so much respect for you and your talent; and wish you nothing but the best for you and your endeavors. Be blessed.
