Now Accepting Nominations: 2019 SoulTracks Readers' Choice Awards

And we need your help!  From now until October 20, we will be accepting nominations for this year's Readers' Choice Awards.  The Awards will be designed to honor the best of independent soul music artists and releases of the past year. 

To be nominated, an artist must have released music (or had their music reach its commercial peak) between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019. And all nominees must have released their music independently (i.e., not on one of the three "major" labels or their subsidiaries). 

Here are the categories:

Album of the Year
Song of the Year
Female Vocalist of the Year
Male Vocalist of the Year
Duo or Group of the Year
New Artist of the Year

From the nominated artists, albums and song, the SoulTracks staff will pick 12 finalists in each category. We'll come back to SoulTrackers in a few weeks to vote on the winners.  To be eligible to receive a ballot, just sign up at the top of the page (we will not share your email address with anyone). The winners will be announced in December.
