He’s consistently delivered top notch material over the years and has amassed an amazing set of collaborators to turn those songs into recorded magic.
It seems that with every album, James has upped the ante a bit in the star talent that he brings in, and that continues with his newest album, Repertoire, a past SoulTracks CD of the Month. Repertoire is a great combination of new songs and reimaginings of some of his most popular songs, with guests such as Maysa, the late Gavin Christopher, Trina Broussard, Tony Terry, Audrey Wheeler and many more. And driving it all is a great collection of songs written by Mr. Day.
