Listen to New LMG Soul Eclectics – Late Spring Drive

It’s been a long four-month hiatus between shows. In that time quite a bit of new material has come out, including some standout jams.

We wanted to pay due diligence to both what was happening now while still making sure we gave some shine to those neo-classics that have popped up over the last 15 years. To make-up for the extended absence, you’ve got over three hours of grown folks’ sounds to relax into at the brink of summer. This mix is intended for those long late spring drives just as summer unfolds. So, it’s more mid-tempo heavy than our usual. As with all the LMG Soul Eclectics mixes, there are no musical boundaries of songs in the Black American Music tradition, with everything from acid jazz and the blues to gospel and soulful house represented. Hope you enjoy this latest madcap adventure.

If you like what you hear, be sure to subscribe to this podcast series on iTunes or Podomatic and share the link with the other music lovers in your life! Let’s keep this soul music movement alive and proving there’s plenty of good music still coming out with each new year. While much of it is not on the radio, it can all be found on the LMG Soul Eclectics show! More to come real soon!  In the meantime, support the artists whose music you like and hear on our show. That’s what it’s all about.
