Her independent CD 'Dawn of a Nu Day' is an expressive showcase of the wide variety of styles, genres and influences that have shaped her artistically and had her sharing stages with artists as diverse as Tupac, Ziggy Marley, Arrested Development and Jazz great Donald Byrd. DeAnna can also be seen on television and the big screen in such movies as 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation', 'Juwanna Mann', Tyler Perry’s 'Madea’s Family Reunion', and as “Ruby” in 'The Fantasia Barrino story'.
