It's been nearly four years since we've had new music from SoulTracks Readers' Choice Award winner Anthony David. But the Southern Soul man has a way of captivating us every time he sings, so we've been anxiously waiting and waiting and waiting.
Anthony is getting ready to answer the bell with the new album The Powerful NOW, due later this year. In the meantime we have a special treat with the haunting track "Beautiful Problem." The gritty ballad begins with a simple piano and finger-popping, leading into a grander, fuller sound as Anthony bemoans an issue he is facing. It's all good stuff that gets us excited about hearing the full album.
