(September 6, 2016) It’s been a decade since we first introduced SoulTrackers to singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Chris Rob. But the Chicago-born performer has made a consistent mark in the indie world, both supporting other artists like John Legend and Lauryn Hill, and upfront as a headliner.

The now New York resident has a new song out that straddles the border between soul and hip-hop, with a steady beat and lyrics that pays tribute to working women. As Chris tells us, “’She’s On the Move’ is a dedication to those strong, independent women of the world serious about moving ahead in their life...not willing to be distracted by the games that men play, seeking the truth over complacency.”

The song is the first single from the upcoming album Sound of Da Struggle, which also features guest appearances by Talib Kweli, Kafele, and more.
