It's always fun when we hear a talented new artist, and that's the case with Dara Tucker, who has released a new album called The Sun Season

The jazzy "Beautiful Sun" was written by Dara while she was in Switzerland a few years ago, but it was just recorded in the studio in October 2013 along with the rest of the album's tracks. "Beautiful Sun"  celebrates the beauty of nature and its ability to invigorate and give life. Dara is joined by several of New York's top musicians, including pianist Helen Sung (Mingus Big Band, TS Monk Band), drummer Donald Edwards (Mingus Big Band, Henry Butler) saxophonist John Ellis (Sting, Mos Def, Charlie Hunter), Grammy Nominated trombonist Alan Ferber and the song's producer bassist Greg Bryant.
