Many artists say that they “grew up in a house of music,” but singer and songwriter Eva Celia really was. She is the daughter of jazz musician and singer Indra Lesmana and actress/singer Sophia Latjuba.
An international artist, Eva was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and grew up both singing and acting. As a teen she began working toward a career in music, and she recorded a few singles amidst acting positions in the US and Indonesia. Her musical aspirations will culminate this Fall with her debut album release. In the meantime, we can enjoy Eva’s debut single, “Reason.” With a strong backbeat and a pop/soul vibe, it is a fresh sound for the Summer.
