Certified 'soul brothers' both literally and figuratively, Coumbus OH natives Woody and Minquel Ingram spent their formative years as many aspiring musicians do: listening to and learning from R&B pioneers (Prince, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, to name a few) while forging a style all their own. Earlier releases with another musical collective, Up 2 Par, helped the brothers to shape their sound and gave them the confidence to create their own duo, Ingram Street.

"Insane" is one of the singles from their debut LP, Escapism, and will instantly hearken to '80's babies' and those who enjoyed the superband explosion of that era (Midnight Starr, Confunkshun). The midtempo vibe is an energetic and danceable tribute to the instantaenous power that physcal attraction can create, a narrative conveying imagery over explicitness with each awestruck verse.

Thanks to their raw talents and complementary, yet contrasting vocals, Ingram Street's music is gaining listeners and audiences across multiple platforms. With a steady ascent. Minquel and Woody are weaving those long-ago lessons into their own signature grooves and can only become better nuanced with time.
