K.Avett is now readying her sophomore album, and she’s leading it off with the cool single “The Matter (What Are We Here For?).” We’ve been digging the song with the thick, sticky groove since we first hit, knowing that we’d be seeing the visual for it soon.

So now we’re proud to present the World Premiere of the new video for “The Matter (What Are We Here For?).” It is a song and video that asks big questions about life, family and finding real meaning in what we do. We were already digging her music, and with this song and video, we simply can’t wait for the album.
