Eight years ago, we introduced SoulTrackers to talented East Coast singer Lamone. It was too long between releases, but Waterbury, Connecticut native finally returned recently with a new album called Smooth that showed him to be just that. A few weeks ago we featured the dance-alicious video for the first single, “Rear View Mirror.”
We’re getting ready to talk some more about this new album over the next several weeks, but right now we’re completely digging the title track, a tasty duet with longtime SoulTracks fave Najee. It is a groovy soul/jazz blend that we think SoulTrackers will like as much as we do.
