Ten songs. That’s how many new moments of grace we’re looking forward to from the young lady who brought us such sublime delectables as “Elusive” and “Au Cinema” from her stellar 2012 Warner Music debut, Is Your Love Big Enough.  The July 2015 follow-up, Blood, is already up on iTunes for pre-order. Warner is also set to deliver Blood via digital download, CD, and limited edition vinyl.

The first release from the project, “Unstoppable,” continues La Havas’ trademark airy vocals floating over a groovealicious urban alternative track of synthy strings, discreet horns, haunting choral backgrounds, and glittery accents. With its anthemic inspirational hook, the guitar playing singer-songwriter has re-emerged after three years with an ideal return. One moment of brilliance down. Hopefully, the remaining nine more life-giving rivers of Blood to go are just as satisfying to the soul. Fingers crossed.
