First Listen: Robert Gee gives us his "Best" on new single

(February 27,2017) We first introduced SoulTrackers to talented singer and songwriter Robert Gee nine years ago when we reviewed his excellent album All My Love. Robert has continued to perform and even won the Best R&B Male Vocal Performance from The Black Music Association. And despite the years away, Robert immediately reconnected with our readers a few months ago when he released his new disc, The Robert Gee EP

Robert is now back with an excellent new midtempo number from that album. “I’ve Given You My Best” features his expressive tenor voice over a memorable melody and a steady groove that we’re digging.

Robert tell us about the song: "I definitely feel like this is a strong follow up to the lead single ‘All I Ever Wanted’ from Robert Gee The EP. The response from radio has been awesome for ‘I’ve Given you my Best’! It captures the feel of the smooth, jazzy, R&B sounds of 80's chart toppers like Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Sade and Eric Benet. It's timeless music but still has a contemporary feel and appeal!"
