The son of a Pentecostal preacher, singer, songwriter and musician Timothy J. Wilson was raised in White Plains, N.Y. and grew up playing venues around the Big Apple. But as his career grew, he moved to the hot R&B city of Atlanta.
Since his move to the ATL, Timothy has been both seen and heard. He has a role on BET show, Let’s Stay Together and launched his very own show, Timothy J. Wilson Live! He also issued two EPs and is currently working on his third, LOVESONGWRITER. We are particularly enjoying the first single, “Away,” a slice of 80s-style funk that should get SoulTrackers’ feet moving. It is our newest SoulTracks First Listen.
