    Soul singer Kenya made some waves with her 2010 debut EP, Starting Over, working with by Grammy Award winning producer Maurice Joshua (Beyonce, Michael Jackson). It boasted a raw rendition of Journey’s 1981 hit “Who’s Crying Now” and original numbers like the engaging “Never The Less.”

    She returned in the autumn of 2012 with Jazz Made Rhythm, a moody smooth jazz approach to standards such as “My Funny Valentine” and “Summertime.” Within the last couple of years, the Chicago-based chanteuse has been named Best Singer of the Month by SingerUniverse.com and has been featured in an array of media outlets celebrating her music.
