    Lizz Fields, the Philly Songstress, once acclaimed as "one of the brightest shinning stars we have on the horizon" (Jazzy Jeff- Touch Of Jazz), is a tasteful infusion of soulful melodies, colorful rhythms and lyrics inspired by her life's journey.

    Whether you know Lizz, from listening to her debut Album "By Day By Night" (2003), or if you are new to her extraordinary talent, you are bound to be drawn to her wit, humor and determination to create music that really feels good. And that honest "feel good" sensation is essentially what made her listeners around the globe embrace her as an authentic powerful artist and allowing her to sell over 15,000 units of that same record.

    Beyond the success of her initial creative effort and a slew of outstanding live performances in renowned places around the world, Lizz Fields is now bringing forth her new and latest masterpiece "PleasureVille" (2008). After an anticipated journey back to the studio, Lizz teamed up with producer and comrade Tristan Leral to create a refreshing collage of songs. This new accomplishment is not just a follow up to her debut album; "PleasureVille" stands as the undeniable proof of Lizz's evolution as a performer, songwriter and producer.

    As the listener, you are taken on a dynamic journey through "PleasureVille". Influenced by the grit of blues and funk and the sweetness of soul and jazz, Lizz and Tristan deliver an album that goes beyond the boundaries of mono stylistic expression while managing to create a concise compilation of honest songs. From the title track's story about Lizz rescuing her beau from the entanglement of today's tech filled life to "Brooklyn Flowers", an anthem about kids growing up in Brooklyn, to her homage to Mom's love in the song "Sugah", Lizz has created something magical and special from the most sincere of places. In summary, "PleasureVille" is a place we can all relate to and love.

    Commanding her audience's attention and wooing them at the same time is a unique essence that a few possess and Lizz Fields just does that. Many have had the opportunity to enjoy one her live performances in locations such as the Blue Note in New York City, The Jazz Café in London, the St Lucia Jazz Festival, the Montreal Jazz Festival and the Fort Greene Festival in Brooklyn, her home away from home.
