SoulTracks Looks Back: El DeBarge felt "Love Always"

    The family group DeBarge had the looks, the vocal talent and the backing of Motown that vaulted it quickly to the top of the Pop and Soul worlds in 1982.     And group lead singer El DeBarge left the group in 1986 and began a solo career that had its ups and downs. But near the beginning of it he sang a terrific ballad that sounds just as now as it did more than a quarter century ago. Of course that song is "Love Always" and it is our newest SoulTracks Lost Gem.
