Breathing new life into the Eurythmics classic "Sweet Dreams" and adding his own special touch to the song, Rahbi addresses those things that leave him perturbed about the current state of entertainment. It would prove to be very interesting to observe Eurythmics' lead, Annie Lennox, after listening to the song. Included on this album is an unexpected rendition of Rick James' "Give It To Me Baby." Instantly the listener marvels in thinking that Rahbi may have pulled the original Stone City Band together for his album. This isn't the case but whoever provided the music did a marvelous job! Donny Hathaway's "Giving Up" proves to be less of a challenge for Rahbi's high-pitched voice than one might expect. Taking the song under his wing and making it his own all the while cautious to leave the original style of Donny's composition intact. The spirit of Rahbi's stage presence never ceases to shine throughout this captivating compilation of treats, some of which were previously included on his EP. Naturally, incorporating live music only enhances the Raw experience on both the older and newer songs. Raw showcases the talent of Rahbi in ways not previously recognized. Highly Recommended.
