This CD will take you for a ride because of its anointing, high praise, strong worship AND because the musical arrangements are tight and the musicians are awesome.
Return's high level of energy from beginning to end is reminiscent of "Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" -- from "Hosanna" to "Caught Up" to" 911" to "Brighter Day" to "He Reigns" to the bonus track with Toby Mac "Throw Yo Hands Up." Let it be known that we had a "tough" time reviewing this project because we could not get past the first couple of tracks "High Praise," and "He Reigns." The tight harmonies of these eight ladies is are impressive, and they let loose throughout their performances on the CD. It is great that they opened the CD with these tracks because they are strong songs and provided us a precursor of the whole project. A few more notable songs are "Words U Say," "Strategically Ordered," "Rescue," and "Contentment," most of which are strong enough to be singles. The album and a few of these songs should become major Gospel hits and should win for the Sisters several accolades.
The CD shows that during the sisters' hiatus, through all of their struggles, trials and tribulations God was purifying them, developing and maintaining sisterhood, harmony, unity and ministry. The Enhanced CD includes bio, contact information, photos, video and remix ("High Praise"), and audio.
