I would like to share with you all, that my mum, Diane Charlemagne, passed away peacefully this morning on the 28th of October. It's comforting to know how many people cared for her & how many people she has touched. There will be many tears & happy on reflection. Please hold her lovely sister Paula Charlemagne, her friend Dee Pee , her nieceChloe Charlemagne, her nephews Nathan Francis & Adie Charlemagne Francis & her cousins Sol Salisbury & Gemma Weekes & the Charlemagne family, in your thoughts. Keep shining mum, love Chantelle xxxxx

Charlemagne’s varied career also spanned into pop, jazz and dance music. Her versatile voice and great stylistic range made her a favorite for producers of often eclectic work. She could be found on hits as the lead singer for Urban Cookie Collective, and guest work for High Contrast, Netsky, Aquasky and many others. Most recently, she collaborated on several tracks with S.P.Y.

Diane Charlemagne was a truly artistic singer and songwriter who appeared to never be afraid to try new styles and musical challenges. She will be greatly missed.

Many thanks to Gary Van den Bussche of Disco Soul Gold for letting us know.
