Among the first purveyors of the smooth, orchestral sound that would come to typify Philadelphia soul, The Delfonics established themselves as one of the quintessential soul groups of the late 60s and 70s and created some of the most notable songs of that era. Teaming with songwriter and producer Thom Bell, they created classic slow jams like "La La Means I Love You" and "Didn't I "Blow Your Mind This Time)" that are still considered among the greatest ever.
