Cedric began his musical life in St. Petersburg, Fl. His passion formusic took root when he was a child. He started out playingdrums in the school band and did so throughout his elementaryand high school years. Although he learned a lot technically aboutmusic in school, he relates that his most significant musicaldevelopment originated amidst his "garage band" experience whenhe and his musical friends would gather at his house for jamsessions. He looks back on this time in his life as being “huge” in his development. The jam sessions were not bound by any musical borders; they embraced the full musical dimension of their timeand place. They played R&B, Rock, Fusion  and Jazz.

After graduating from high school, Cedric attended Florida A&MUniversity where he obtained a degree from the prestigiousSchool of Business and Industry. His college years were markedlydifferent musically because he was not immersed in the musicculture. While not actively playing in a band, he honed guitarskills and began and to write songs. Post-graduation he picked uppiano and began recording songs. He subsequently relocated tothe Washington, Dc area and expanded his network ofprofessional relationships.

During his career Cedric has worn many hats. Band Leader,Producer, Engineer, composer and side man are just a few. Hefeels now is the time to try his hand at being a solo artist. It is hisgoal to Write, produce and perform classic songs. Time will tellhow listeners receive his music. Give it a try.
