Official Biography (courtesy of DeP)

DēP (pronounced "Deep"), born Donald Paige, is a triple threat talent (singer/actor/model) from Houston, TX, now living in Los Angeles, CA.

DēP was born into a musical family with roots in gospel music. Many of his family members are charter members of the Southeast Inspirational Choir, which propelled the careers of gospel legends Yolanda Adams, Brenda Waters, Shirley Joiner, Carl Preacher, Multi Platinum Producer Greg Curtis, and more.  So it was only natural that DēP would eventually spread his wings as a talented performer and entertainer. Influenced by such artists as Donny Hathaway, Missy Elliott, R. Kelly, and Tank, DēP first exploded on the scene as part of the NYC based R& B group Signature, before emerging as a solo artist. DeP has successfully branched into the world of print modeling, landing 1 table-side book (Adorned Addiction vol.2), several print publications (The Grynd Report, AT Magazine, D-Mars Business Journal), A Brand Ambassador Contract with the Teddy Winston upscale male grooming line, and countless features in online blogs and more.

DēP has shared the stage and opened up for some of the best of the best in music from Beyonce to Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Alicia Keys Jussie Smollett, Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, Boys II Men, and more. Some of his television appearances include 2015 Grammy Awards, Grammy Salutes: Stevie Wonder, 2016 TV Land Awards, 2016 ESPYS, 2016 White House Christmas, and more. This artist has also made cameo appearances in several music videos including "Matrimony" (Wale ft. Usher), "Bang Bang" (Jessie J ft. Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj), and "So In Love" (Jill Scott ft. Anthony Hamilton) to name a few also flexing his acting muscles in commercials (Dos Equis & Beats By Dre), tv (Gloryland, Gloria Alred, etc) and film (Straight Outta Compton, The Preachers Son, etc.)

With an ever growing fanbase concentrated mostly in South and East coast, plus a recognizable following in Ca and NV, DēP has given his listeners a bevy of singles over the past few years. "Something More" ( is a slow groove R&B ballad about taking an intimate relationship to a deeper level. The mid-tempo "Contract" has also become a crowd favorite in live performances and "Celebrate" ( is a dynamic summer dance hit that reminds us to enjoy life and to be in the moment. Other singles include "Sugar Rush" Ft. Don Benjamin and "1st Sight" featured in the BET Film My Favorite Five. DēP's tenor voice has a grit and an emotional range to cover a wide range of styles and topics.

DēP's latest LP release, Think DēP Reloaded, includes all of his previously released singles and some new jams. This includes the highly anticipated "Rough" (ft. Liz Vaughn) and the album's first single "Red Light." Slated for release is his Christmas compilation entitled The Christmas Set (Set 1) ft him and some of music's most talented vocalist including Octavia, Kai Hicks, Mabvuto, Bianca Acosta, and Demetria Jackson. His single from that release is "That Christmas Song", a sexy current spin on the Christmas classic, "The Christmas Song". Still on his journey, there is much more to come. Nothing Is Happenstance. Think DeP.

In the meantime, DēP is launching promotions and touring while preparing for several acting roles including his first lead role in a short entitled "This Side Up",  to be released this year.
