One of those tracks, “Freedom,” is both timely and political. As Larochelle says, “I feel that this song is really appropriate now considering our political climate. The opening line says ‘Hey Mr President, how much you charge for privacy,’ which is emblematic of the problems that we are facing right now and that many in countries around the world are facing as well. The quest for freedom is so fundamentally human and that's something we can all connect to so even though I wrote the song when I did I feel that it will resonate with listeners for generations to come because of this universal search for freedom. Also having Chuck Fenda bless the record in such a powerful way was so meaningful. He truly brings a hot humble fire to the track that makes me immediately warm up to this new sound and feel welcome in this new realm that is essentially foreign to me." Check it out.
