    November 6, 2017 – In the face of injustice, some take to the streets.  Others take a knee.  And still others take up their instruments.

    The musicians Jon Batiste, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr. have joined forces to resurrect “Ohio,” a Neil Young-penned original from the Nixon era.  The trio have made it entirely their own; it’s now an elegy for this era.  The blend of their voices floating over Batiste’s gentle piano chords and Clark’s puncturing slide guitar is timeless, haunting and spiritual.  This is not to be missed.
