    Out of West Angeles COGIC came the Saints in Praise, Norman Hutchins, Judy McAlister, Kurt Carr, and now the contemporary talents of Wallace Smith. Born in Mansfield, Ohio and raised in Santa Monica, California Wallace's early years were spent learning the word and finding his musical and acting talents. Under the guidance of Bishop Blake and all the gospel greats Wallace honed in on his talents. 

    The past 5 years has been spent on the road in the off Broadway play "Miss Saigon,'' where he played the lead character Jeff. He has the traveled with the Broadway play "The Lion King" playing the lead character, the beloved Simba. Now Wallace is portraying "Simba" at the new Lion King Center on Broadway. While traveling city to city, Wallace wrote and composed his debut album, The Chronicles of Wallace Smith. This self taught musician, producer, and worship leader took his life experience an put in song form then titled them Chronicles, meaning letters or writings of events. The album captures a spiritual conversation about understanding a relationship between God and man. Songs like "Man that I Am," "Am I Just God," "I Live to Worship," "Brand New" and "You" all deal with a personal conversation between God and man. Wallace prays this album encourages, challenges and help people deal with their own Chronicles.
