Another Groove: Yendry wows on “Se Acabó”

February 15, 2021– Welcome back to Another Groove, our series dedicated to new music that is neither pure soul nor R&B but which includes elements of those genres and may please your ears. This week we feature the track “Se Acabó” (It’s Over) by the delightful new artist Yendry.

Yendry is a singer/songwriter who was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Italy at age 3, where she now resides.  Her influences are 90’s R&B, Latin music and electronica, and her music blends them seamlessly with a dash of hip hop on top.  Her vocals (largely in Spanish) are nuanced and rich, and her overall vibe is warm and upbeat. She is currently at work on her debut album, and if “Se Acabo” is any indication, she has a very promising music career ahead of her indeed.  Enjoy.
