    Ava Monroe could sing before she could talk. Her unusual love for music was even more evident when she chose her first microphone over her favorite dolls and toys. The American R&B/Soul/Jazz singer, songwriter and record producer is the daughter of Professional Heavyweight boxer, Marty Monroe and Author, Jean Dancy.

    Ava Started her professional singing career as a background singer for one of her favorite American Idol winners, Fantasia. She has been blessed to sing behind some of the best musical talent in the world: Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Lionel Richie, Kanye West, Patti LaBelle, Yolanda Adams, The Clark Sisters, Smokie Norful, Miki Howard, Kayla Parker, Queen, and Dennis Edwards, lead singer of the famed Temptations.

    She has sung on American Idol, Idol Gives Back, The Grammys, The Super Bowl, Soul Train, Nickelodeon and more.

    Ava is currently working on her first album, Love’s Imagination, which will be released in 2012.
