An extremely prolific songwriter and producer, Barry Eastmond has been a mainstay in the pop and soul worlds for two decades.  Maybe best known for his work with Anita Baker, he's also produced or written for a virtual "who's who" of adult soul artists, including Gladys Knight, Peabo Bryson, George Benson, Chaka Khan, Kenny and Chante, Freddie Jackson and Whitney Houston. The results have been over 60 gold or platinum albums on which he's been involved and a general recognition of Eastmond as a "go to" songwriter and producer.

Eastmond is a Brooklyn, New York native, and began studying classical music at age four.  He later added drums, organ and guitar to his repertoire.  He studied at music at Brooklyn College, Julliard School of Music and Manhattan School of Music, and now is a Songwriter in Residence at Boston 's famed Berklee School of Music.

Eastmond has also been involved in movies and television, having penned the theme songs for Montel, The Maury Povich Show and Judge Hatchett.
