(October 23, 2017) Soul music fans first heard the talented singer Cassandra Lucas when she was part of the platinum selling duo, Changing Faces, scoring a #1 hit in 1994 with the R Kelly-produced hit, “Stroke You Up.”

After her Changing Faces days were over, the Harlem-born Lucas went on to work with Donnell Jones and Jody Watley, among others, but now she is back and completing her solo debut album.

“I Love You” begins with a slow, sensitive opening before transitioning to a danceable midtempo that features great harmonies and a steady groove that draws us in. It’s a great hint at what Cassandra’s album may hold in store

Check out “I Love You” and we’ll all be ready to hear more from Cassandra Lucas.
