(May 3, 2017) --We are just getting to know keyboardist and arranger Adrian Hibbs, but his music has been all around us for awhile. He’s performed and recorded over the years with Wanya Morris (Boys II Men), Plain White T’s, Big Sam's Funky Nation, and Panic! at the Disco, among other, and he released a well received debut project in 2014. His eclectic sound eminates from influences such as Stevie Wonder, Zapp and Roger, Sly & the Family Stone and Earth Wind & Fire.

Over the past year, Adrian has been writing and producing for other artists, and he teamed with talented singer Myra Washington for a new song that we’re excited to premiere. With synths, guitar and a steady beat coming together, the song has an immediacy that hits listeners like a bazooka.

Adrian tells us: “’Voodoo’ combines elements of dance funk, soul and rock. The composition was originally inspired after the loss of Prince, we crafted the lyrics in my apt here in Hollywood and then I started producing and  had dozens of arrangements until I sent a mix off to Randy Emata for his last stamp and then it was ready to share.  I am really proud of this production and Myra Washington's band 'Loud as Funk' has been performing it here in LA, the track crushes live."

The song features such talent as Moog bass maverick Lex Sadler, Rod Castro on guitar, Tom Lea on Strings and Aaron Haggerty on drums. Expect to hear more of these sessions later this year. But in the meantime, check out the World Premiere of “Voodoo.” You’ll be caught in its spell.
