Of course, we're talking about Anthony David and Algebra, two ATL stars who sound great as solo artists, but who create something magical together.
So, nine years after their last big recording together, it was kind of a shock today to hear them tease out a new song they've been working on and will soon be releasing. "Need You Now" is a cover of the #1 hit by Lady Antebellum from a decade ago, and this newest incarnation is a languid ballad that focuses on the stars' vocal performances -- and they just sound great together in the snippet they've released.

Anthony tells us, "It seems like promoters and fans have been introduced to Algebra and me together through '4evermore.' It's ended up being this natural fit, where people already assumed we had all this duet material. In the process of building this, we've started by finding material we both like. This song by Lady Antebellum is already a soulful ballad. Music is just universal like that."
We agree that the original song was a country gem. But the smoky new take on it by Anthony and Algebra makes its own statement, and we simply can't wait to hear it in full. Check out the clip below.
