Last year we premiered their collaboration with legendary Isley Brothers keyboardist and songwriter, Chris Jasper on "Harvest For The World." And that song is part of a brand new album released by the band this week, called Inside Out. It is a combination of four new studio cuts ("inside") along with eight live recordings ("outside") of some of their biggest hits. It is a welcome addition to AWB's voluminous catalog.
One of the cuts from the album that is hitting us is the funky midtempo, "Ask Your Doctor." Opening with the familiar AWB horns, it moves into a steady groove and a fun story about the physical and emotional changes that come with first feelings of love. It is quintessential AWB, and it is great to hear them doing it.
