    September 5, 2018 -- Devonté Hynes, better known as Blood Orange, is a London-born singer, songwriter and producer who has worked or written for artists such as Tinashe, Solange, FKA twigs, and Florence and the Machine, among many others.  He began his music career in 2007, then under the moniker Lightspeed Champion, before pivoting in 2011 to his current incarnation with the release of his critically acclaimed debut album, Coastal Grooves.  He trades in warm, ambient R&B and electronica floating atop compelling grooves.
