(January 18, 2018) Once upon a time, yet not long ago, R&B had a different type of vibe: sensual, yet subtle, love in equal measure with lust and rap cameos appeared in remixes rather than in every other verse. It's that style of soul music that an ambitious quartet, Bluff City, is hoping to revive with their new slow burn of a single, "Let Me Show You."

Comprised of four Southern-born singers and songwriters, Bluff City (Frank, Trevante, Roney and Rakeem) is presently creating quite a buzz, thanks to their modern narratives and classically-influenced riffs and melodies. "Let Me" brings back the sweetness now missing in many of today's so-called 'love songs,' aiming for a head-to-toe experience instead of the 'hit-and quit': "Girl relax your mind, let me take you on this ride/I know that you need me, ain't no place that I'd rather be.....I wanna feel all your energy."

Aside from the eye candy appeal and crisp production (courtesy of Pharrell Williams' "Happy" engineer, Leslie Brathwaite), "Let Me Show You" offers a smooth sampling of Bluff City's raw talents. And judging from their widening appeal and growing fan base, this R&B group stands out and will continue to rise.
