(April 3, 2020) We’ve been following singer, songwriter, producer and actor Bradd Marquis for several years. The powerful-voiced vocalist has been a consistent concert draw around the US, both for his own material as well as for his critically acclaimed Sam Cooke tribute show.

It’s been three years since Brad won us over again with his hit “Who Let You Go,” but now he is back with a song that delivers a powerful message. “No War” opens with a chant reminiscent of the classic Edwin Starr song “War,” before moving into a more rock-funk arrangement, led by sizzling guitar work from Marcus Machado, appropriate for lyrics that ask the question about faceless decisions made that affect the lives of real people.

Bradd tells us: "I can’t truly express 'No War' in a short quote but if I had to it would read, 'No War is frustration and hope wrapped up into song.  Frustration from centuries of repetitive systemic self-destructive ideologies and behaviors. The Hope, that by letting love lead, we will usher ourselves into a better future...together!'”
