(May 29, 2020) We’ve all been listening to Brian McKnight for three decades now, and the man is staying prolific, consistently releasing new music that makes SoulTrackers smile.

Mr. McKnight’s last few singles have been strong ballads – this year’s dedication to his wife, “Nobody,” was terrific – but with his newest single, he shows he can pick the pace back up. Coming in advance of the June 26 release Exodus, The Stevie Wonder-influenced “Bad” is both fun and a bit funky, and the singer shows both his range and his sense of melody are well intact. For us, this may be his best upbeat song in a decade or more, and it is a real sign of longevity that it comes from his 20th album.
