Chelima was always singing during her childhood, but then life got in the way. She actually worked behind the scenes in the music for years, traveling the world. As an international person who lives in France and it so Malian, Egyptian and Spanish background, Chelima would bring a variety of influences to her music whenever she decided to step in front of the mic. That began within the last couple of years as Chelima worked on her EP, The Beholder, and started performing in clubs across Southern France.
Chelima’s “It’s Not the End” is the first track released from The Beholder. “It’s Not the End” is a reggae cut where Chelima uses her husky voice to encourage a friend to persevere. Check it out.
