(September 26, 2018) Keyboardist and vocalist Chris Rob came of age in Chicago, and he brought a lifetime of musical studies with him when he moved to New York as a young man. Chris immediately made a name for himself as an A-List musician, and soon was working with artists ranging from Leon Ware to John Legend, with performances on Oprah, The Tonight Show and more along the way.
As a solo artist, Chris has headlined at NYC's hottest venues, including The Blue Note, Joe's Pub, The Cutting Room, and S.O.B's. And he has shown that while he is an artist who moves with the times, he also has a love of classic R&B and hip-hop.
That love of the classic sound comes through big time in his brand new single, “No Doubt.” With an old school R&B swing and call-and-response vocals, the song has the feel of an earworm 70s jam. It is a song that will make you smile, just as it is keeping us grinning.
