With his home and heritage scattered all over Europe, a single-raising political refugee mother and a childhood spent fighting in schoolyards, it was clear that music would be Chromatone’s refuge. Phil, a.k.a. Chromatone, performed classical guitar recitals at age 6, and his love of music led him as a teenager to London.

After establishing his existence as a professional session-guitarist and singer, touring through Asia and Europe, Phil determined to create a career as a front man, now called Chromatome, and has become a YouTube darling with his brand of soulful pop music.

Chromatone now hits us with a great new single "Play For Me," which he calls "authentic, Big Band, Gospel-inspired Pop music." That works for us. It's a nice intro for SoulTracks to a talented artists from whom we hope to hear more in the future.
