Mariam John has had a culturally enriched east-west upbringing. Hailing from a musically talented family of South Indian and West African heritage, this singer/songwriter has been writing lyrics since the age of fourteen. She went on the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and, after graduating, won the Noise Prize open category music section.
After a brief move to California, Mariam is now back in her home country of Singapore, and is singing her own brand of world-influenced music.
