(October 22, 2020) The city of Houston, Texas has given the Soul Music world its share of talent, and it provides another gift with singer Erin Stevenson, whom we first covered a couple years ago. Erin has been a background singer for the likes of  Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, J Lo, Pharrell, and Camilla Cabelllo, but we like it more when the talented songstress moves up 20 feet to the front of the stage.

On her newest single, Erin makes a gutsy move, taking on a nearly 40 year old classic that served as Luther Vandross’s first hit. “Never Too Much” gets a slightly discofied, feminine touch on the new version, and that was intentional. Erin tells us, “We light up the world with the love that we give...So give all you got don't hold back love and live. #rnbisnotdead It's a female, sultry and sassy version of a classic by one of the world's greatest vocalists, Luther Vandross...who is also one of my inspirations.’

The video for "Never Too Much" is a happy jaunt, featuring Erin and the bandmembers who performed on the single. It is saucy fun and will be sure to make SoulTrackers smile.

"Never Too Much" is the first single from Erin’s upcoming EP, CoverCurl, and it is a nice second introduction to SoulTrackers.
