(April 16, 2021) Felton Pilate has secured his place in the R&B history books for his pioneering work in ConFunkShun, taking the lead vocals on many of that band’s biggest hits.
But he has continued to work writing and producing other artists and, occasionally, releasing his own music. It’s always a treat to hear new music from him, so we’re excited that he’s delivered a new dance jam that will get his fans moving at the club.
“Waiting Just To Dance” is upbeat number with a fat bottom, Stevie Wonder-style keys, and Felton’s recognizable tenor voice up front. There’s a thick slice of funk underneath this one, and we think you’re going to love it.
