(April 2, 2020) During the last year we’ve gotten to know the music of Brighton, UK-based DJ Flevans, via his breakout album Part Time Millionaire. SoulTrackers loved our world premiere of the song “Invisible” with Laura Vane, and we couldn’t wait to hear more.
Now Flevans is back with a new single the previews his upcoming album Accumulate, due this coming May. Teaming with singer Scooby Jones, Flevans delivers “Ambition Like Cream,” a dance-ready number that straddles the line between pop, R&B and funk, with a hook that becomes an instant earworm. And while the number will get you moving, it reflects on the real – asking why we chase money, fame, artistic respect, but not true love.
