First Listen: Fred Hammond helps DeWayne Harvey find "What the Lord Allows"

    (April 2, 2021) When music ministers are handling their business in praise and worship, major support systems amongst messengers of the Lord are shaped along the way.  But when these ministers face almost overwhelming adversity, their passion to serve God becomes stronger and the bonding between their fellow servants is sweeter.  Take DeWayne Harvey and Fred Hammond in this instance;  Florida Gospel Hall of Fame Inductee Harvey survived a near death experience, which inspired one of his biggest projects, “Report of the Lord” featuring The Greater Blessings Praise Team. And Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award winner, Detroit, Michigan native Fred Hammond dealt with double knee surgery.

    So, their victory in Jesus when battling their storms provides ample opportunity for Harvey and Hammond to share a testimony about handling adversity surrounding the Covid pandemic.  Our latest First Listen, Harvey’s debut solo track, “What the Lord Allows,” rides on a smooth urban gospel backdrop and tight praise leading as only Harvey and Hammond can accomplish.
