Gino has continued to quietly record, issuing his most recent album, Wilderness Road, in 2019. And for the 2020 holiday season, he has issued a soft, acoustic number, with his familiar tenor voice purring in front of piano and guitar backing.
"How Sweet The Silence" feels more like the kind of soft rock number that Dan Fogelberg would have sung, rather than the R&B-laced music of Vannelli's heyday, but it is a melodic, gentle number that fits the Christmas season. And it is good to hear this talented singer back again.
