(February 19, 2017) Howard Hewett has thrilled soul music fans with his golden voice for over three decades. Both as a member of the group Shalamar and as a solo artist, he's proven to be one of the great voices of our time.
Howard has continued to release new singles from time to time. It wasn't long ago that we ran the World Premiere video of the country-styled love ballad "You Still Live Inside of Me." Well, Howard now has another new love song ballad, this time of the more R&B variety. "A Love of My Own" begins with a mournful keyboard backing, as Howard croons about his need to tell a special woman about her special place in his heart, and how happy he is that he's found "a love of my own."
