(February 27, 2021) Over the past half decade or so, we’ve seen the steady emergence of certified 'soul brothers' Woody and Minquel Ingram, aka Ingram Street. The Columbus, Ohio siblings grew up digging the sounds of 80s R&B, and they have won over fans around the world for their incorporation of classic soul vibes into their 21st century music.
For the third single from the duo’s Paint The Town album, they team with two songwriting masters of the classic soul game: Legendary producer Preston Glass and longtime Temptations falsetto lead Ron Tyson. The result is “Keeping It Special,” a smooth soulful ballad that is also the soundtrack to the duo's new video.

Minquel tells us, "We were going after a nostalgic r&b motown feel for the video and wanted to pay homage to the balladeer groups who paved the way when it came to showmanship and quiet storm soul. We also wanted to add our unique Ingram Street spin on it to bring it up to today."
